Prof Sue Fletcher-Watson to step down in Spring 2025 Sue has been Director of SMRC since the retirement of the late and great Professor Anne O’Hare, in 2019. Over the past six years she has helped Research Centre members win funding and have an impact. Research from the Centre is addressing the mammoth task of removing the inequalities that neurodivergent people face in school, healthcare, social care, at work, and in society in general. Within the University of Edinburgh, the search is now on for Sue’s successor who will lead the Centre over the coming years, enriching its charity partnership and growing its reputation for high-quality, cutting-edge, coproduced research that makes a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
