August 31 Facebook Live event with Scottish Autism

On August 31, lead LEANS researcher Dr Alyssa Alcorn had a Facebook Live chat with Charlene Tait of Scottish Autism, all about the Learning About Neurodiversity at School (LEANS) resource pack. This informal Q&A session covered basics of what LEANS is, why primary schools might want to use it, and what’s coming up next for the project, especially around embedding neurodiversity in the curriculum. They also talked about how parents/carers can get involved—you don’t need to be a teacher to support neurodiversity education!
